David Shepherd Wildlife artist of the year

I am so honoured to have been shortlisted for the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation ‘Wildlife Artist of the Year’ competition in association with BBC Wildlife Magazine.

This year, there were a record number of entries and I can’t even imagine how difficult it must have been for the judges to go through over 2000 pieces. From what I have seen, the entries were of an extremely high standard. The most important thing to remember is that every single entry has made a huge difference in what is a very important cause, as well as raising awareness for conservation issues that need addressing. All artists who dedicate their lives’ work to making positive changes on this planet are the real MVPs, regardless of the competition outcome!
